Personal Security Enhanced for Dr. Anthony Fauci After Online Threats Dr. Anthony S. Fauci has regularly appears on the White Houses coronavirus press briefings, encouraging social distancing as a national guideline. He reportedly is being targeted by Donald Trump supporters, who believe he is undermining the Presidents' chances for re-election, believing the national shutdown will reflect on the President's chances of reelection. Despite being publicly praised by the President, many Presidential supporters have taken to Twitter to express their disapproval of Dr. Fauci. The U.S. Marshal recommended that Dr. Fauci receive more security and yesterday the Department of Health and Human Services approved some nine special agents to provide that security.
